Conversation Decoder

Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Conversation Decoder (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Conversation Decoder is a self-inquiry tool that uses artificial intelligence to help you reflect on a conversation. It offers possible perspectives, hidden assumptions, and questions to consider. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

You may use the Service anonymously or create a free account. When you create an account you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for safeguarding your sign-in method (Google account or email link). You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age for data-processing consent in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:
  • Submit content that violates any law.
  • Submit other people’s private content without their consent where such consent is required.
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or attack the Service or the underlying AI providers.
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or harm another person.
  • Submit content involving minors in a sexual or harmful context.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the conversations you submit. By submitting, you grant us a limited licence to process your input through our AI provider for the sole purpose of producing your analysis and storing it in your private history (if signed in). The Service itself — including its name, branding, design, code, and the structure of generated analyses — is owned by Conversation Decoder and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Analyses are generated by an AI model. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or misleading. The same input may produce different output. Do not treat any analysis as a statement of fact or as guidance you should rely on for any important decision.

7. No Professional Advice

Conversation Decoder does not provide:
  • Legal advice
  • Medical advice
  • Psychological advice
  • Therapeutic advice
  • Financial advice

You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take based on any analysis. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) zero.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, how it is processed (including AI processing by OpenAI in the United States), and how you can delete your account and data from within the app.

10. Account Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your entire account at any time from /delete-account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms or where required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
